| My maremma is
Pascolo April Snow. April is a lovely, gentle, intelligent dog,
who minds the house, the acreage (all 25 of them) and the herd of
50-odd goats, when required - she's often thrown a newborn kid to
mind if I'm busy with multiple births. I also have a german shepherd,
Jade (Numani Crystal Gem) who is four weeks older than April. Her
father came from the Netherlands, so what with the dogs and my Italian
husband, it's rather a European arrangement here - even the goats
are swiss breeds!
